Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चिदशभ्यस्यते सम्यग गृहे ते भरतर्षभ । धनुर्वेदस्य सूत्र वै यन्त्रसूत्रं च नागरम्,भरतकुलभूषण! क्या तुम्हारे घरपर धरनुर्वेदसूत्र, यन्त्रसूत्रन और नागरिक सूत्रका अच्छी तरह अभ्यास किया जाता है?
kaccid abhyasyate samyag gṛhe te bharatarṣabha | dhanurvedasya sūtraṃ vai yantrasūtraṃ ca nāgaram ||
那罗陀说道：“婆罗多族之雄牛啊，你家中是否严守训练之法、修习不辍——既习《弓术吠陀》（弓矢与战阵之学）的纲要之经，又习机关器械之技术书，并习城邦礼法之经？婆罗多族的光饰啊，这些学门在你府中可都修行得当么？”
