Commencement of the Regulated Duel
विशेषनियमाश्रैषामविशेषाश्च सन्त्युत । विशेषवांश्व सतत क्षत्रिय: श्रियमृच्छति,इन स्नातकोंमें कुछ विशेष नियमका पालन करनेवाले होते हैं और कुछ साधारण। विशेष नियमका पालन करनेवाला क्षत्रिय सदा लक्ष्मीको प्राप्त करता है
viśeṣaniyamāśraiṣām aviśeṣāś ca santy uta | viśeṣavāṁś ca satataṁ kṣatriyaḥ śriyam ṛcchati ||
在这些受戒的斯那塔迦之中,有的奉行特别的戒律,有的只守一般的规条。刹帝利若恒常持守那特别的戒律,便能稳步获得兴盛与王者之福。
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
Prosperity and stable royal success are linked to disciplined conduct: a kṣatriya who goes beyond minimal duty and consistently follows higher, special observances (viśeṣa-niyama) is said to attain śrī—fortune, splendor, and legitimacy.
Śrīkṛṣṇa is describing categories of snātakas (those who have completed formal study and rites) and contrasting general versus special disciplines, then applying the point to kṣatriya life: sustained excellence in observance brings enduring prosperity.
