अतीत्य गड्डां शोणं च त्रयस्ते प्राड्मुखास्तदा । कुशचीरच्छदा जम्मुर्मागधं क्षेत्रमच्युता:
atītya gaṅgāṃ śoṇaṃ ca trayas te prāṅmukhās tadā | kuśacīracchadā jagmur māgadhaṃ kṣetram acyutāḥ ||
毗耶娑ṃ帕耶那说道：渡过恒河与首那河之后，那三位坚毅的英雄便面向东方继续前行。他们仅以库沙草与树皮布蔽体，持守苦行之节，行旅不辍，终于抵达摩揭陀国土的边境。
