Jarāsandha-vadha-upadeśa and the Departure toward Magadha (जरासन्धवधोपदेशः मागधप्रस्थानं च)
gṛhe tasya bhaved vṛddhir anyathā kṣayam āpnuyāt | tvad-agṛhe tiṣṭhamānāhaṃ pūjitāhaṃ sadā vibho ||
The verse links household well-being (vṛddhi) with honoring a revered divine presence; reverence and proper worship are presented as causes of prosperity, while neglect is associated with decline (kṣaya).
A divine voice addresses a lord (vibhu), stating that where she is properly honored in a home there is growth and welfare, and affirming that she has long resided in and been worshipped in the addressee’s house.
