राजन्‌ सेनापतिर्जातः शिशुपाल: प्रतापवान्‌ । महाराज! वह अपनी राजनीतिक युक्तियोंसे इस समय सम्राट्‌ बन बैठा है। राजन! कहते हैं

Transliteration

rājan senāpatir jātaḥ śiśupālaḥ pratāpavān | mahārāja! sa rājya-nīti-yuktibhiḥ samprati samrāḍ iva bhavati | rājan! śrūyate pratāpī rājā śiśupālaḥ sarvathā jarāsandham āśritya tasya pradhāna-senāpatir abhavat |

Translation

克里希纳说道：“大王啊，勇武的尸输波罗已成了统军大将。凭借政治权谋，他仿佛坐上了帝王之位。人们都说，大王啊，那强盛的尸输波罗——事事依附并投靠迦罗散陀——遂升为他的首席将军。”
