नाहं वृष्णिप्रवीरेण बन्धुभिश्वैव मातुल । विहीनां पृथिवीं द्रष्ट शक्यामीह कथंचन,“मामाजी! वृष्णिवंशके प्रमुख वीर भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण तथा अपने भाइयोंसे हीन हुई यह पृथ्वी मुझसे अब किसी तरह देखी नहीं जा सकेगी
vaiśampāyana uvāca | nāhaṁ vṛṣṇipravīreṇa bandhūbhiś caiva mātula | vihīnāṁ pṛthivīṁ draṣṭuṁ śakyāmīha kathaṁcana ||
毗舍波耶那说道：“舅父啊，当大弗利湿尼族最卓绝的英雄与我自己的亲族都已不在，我无论如何也无法忍受再看这大地。一个失却了克里希那与雅陀婆一脉的世界，于我在道义与情感上都已难以承当。”
