अनेन चास्य क्षुरनेमिनाद्य संछिन्धि मूर्धानमरे: प्रसहा
anena cāsya kṣuraneminādya saṃchindhi mūrdhānam areḥ prasahā
三阇耶说道:“以此刃如剃刀的利器,立刻斩下此敌之首——压倒他,毫不迟疑地去做。”
संजय उवाच
The verse reflects the battlefield ethic of decisive action in a dharma-yuddha context: when combat is joined, hesitation can endanger one’s side, so the warrior is urged to act swiftly and effectively against an enemy.
Sañjaya narrates an urgent instruction in the midst of combat, urging that the opponent’s head be severed immediately with a sharp-edged weapon—an image of the ferocity and immediacy of the Karṇa Parva battles.
