रूक्षा: सुतीक्ष्णाश्न हि पापबुद्धिः सूतात्मजो<यं गतभीर्दुरात्मा । संस्मृत्य सर्व तदिहाद्य पापं जह्याशु कर्ण युधि सव्यसाचिन्‌,“तुम्हारे चलाये हुए बाणसमूहोंको इसने नष्ट कर दिया, यह तो आज मुझे बड़े आश्चर्यकी बात जान पड़ती है। सव्यसाची अर्जुन! कौरव-सभामें द्रौपदीको दिये गये उन क्लेशोंको तो याद करो। इस पापबुद्धि दुरात्मा सूतपुत्रने जो निर्भय होकर हमलोगोंको थोथे तिलोंके समान नपुंसक बताया था और बहुत-सी अत्यन्त तीखी एवं रूखी बातें सुनायी थीं, उन सबको यहाँ याद करके तुम पापी कर्णको शीघ्र ही युद्धमें मार डालो

rūkṣāḥ sutīkṣṇāś ca hi pāpabuddhiḥ sūtātmajo 'yaṃ gatabhīr durātmā | saṃsmṛtya sarvaṃ tad ihādya pāpaṃ jahy āśu karṇaṃ yudhi savyasācin ||

三阇耶说道:“这车夫之子,心术险恶、品性卑劣,曾吐出粗厉而锋利如刃的言辞;如今更抛却畏惧,立于你前。今日此时此地,追忆那一切罪行——尤其是在俱卢王庭中对德罗帕蒂所加的羞辱。记取这罪人迦尔纳如何大胆嘲弄我们,称我们‘如空芝麻壳般无能’,并投掷无数残酷的辱骂。将这一切铭记在心吧,萨维亚萨钦,速于战中诛杀迦尔纳。”
