दिदृक्षव: समाजग्मु: कर्णार्जुनसमागमम् । क्रीड़ामृग, पक्षीसमुदाय तथा हाथी, घोड़े, रथ और पैदलोंसहित दिव्य मनीषी पुरुष वायु तथा बादलोंको वाहन बनाकर कर्ण और अर्जुनका युद्ध देखनेके लिये वहाँ पधारे थे
didṛkṣavaḥ samājagmuḥ karṇārjunasamāgamam | krīḍāmṛga-pakṣī-samudāyas tathā hastī-ghoḍa-ratha-paidalaiḥ saha divyā manīṣi-puruṣā vāyu-bādala-vāhanāḥ karṇa-arjunayor yuddhaṁ draṣṭuṁ tatra samupāgatāḥ |
三阇耶说道：渴望目睹迦尔那与阿周那相会交锋者，纷纷聚集于彼处。伴随而来的有供游猎取乐的群兽与成群飞鸟，又有象、马、战车与步卒；天界的圣仙与先知亦至——以风与云为乘——只为观迦尔那与阿周那之战。此景昭示此一决斗被视为关乎非凡后果的时刻，承载着道义与宿命的重量，甚至引得天上也为之注目。
