कुलिन्दपुत्रावरजस्तु तोमरै- दिवाकरांशुप्रतिमैरयस्मयै: । रथं च विक्षोभ्य ननाद नर्दत- स्ततो<स्य गान्धारपति: शिरो5हरत्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

kulindaputrāvarajas tu tomarair

divākarāṃśupratimair ayasmayaiḥ |

rathaṃ ca vikṣobhya nanāda nardatas

tato 'sya gāndhārapatiḥ śiro 'harat ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：库林达王子之弟掷出铁制标枪，光辉如日之射线，震撼了犍陀罗王的战车，并高声咆哮以示挑战。随即，犍陀罗之主斩下了那咆哮勇士的首级。
