'पुरुषसिंह! ऐसी अवस्थामें तुम पुरुषार्थका भरोसा करके क्षत्रिय-धर्मको सामने रखते हुए अर्जुनपर चढ़ाई करो ।।

Transliteration

puruṣasiṁha! etādṛśyāṁ daśāyāṁ tvaṁ puruṣārtha-bharosā kṛtvā kṣatriya-dharmaṁ puraskṛtyārjunam abhyārohaya. bhāro hi dhārtarāṣṭreṇa tvayi sarvaḥ samāhitaḥ; tam udgṛhya mahābāho yathāśakti yathābalam.

Translation

桑阇耶说：“哦人中之狮！在此危急之际，当凭自身之奋发，奉刹帝利之法为先，向阿周那发起进击。因为持国之子杜罗约陀那已将全部重担托付于你；故而，哦大臂者，当举起此担，并依你之力与势将其承担。”
