शरार्चिषं गाण्डिवचारुमण्डलं युगान्तसूर्यप्रतिमानतेजसम्‌ । न कौरवा: शेकुरुदीक्षितुं जयं यथा रविं व्याधितचक्षुषो जना:

Transliteration

śarārciṣaṃ gāṇḍīva-cāru-maṇḍalaṃ yugānta-sūrya-pratimāna-tejasam | na kauravāḥ śekur udīkṣituṃ jayaṃ yathā raviṃ vyādhita-cakṣuṣo janāḥ ||

Translation

迦尔那说道：“那时阿周那炽然如劫末之日。其箭光如万缕日辉，向四方迸射；他拉满的甘狄婆弓，宛若太阳可爱的圆轮。正如患眼疾者不能直视太阳，俱卢众亦不能望向阿周那——为其武威之光所压倒，也为其胜利之必然所震慑。”
