सर्वे संख्ये कुरवो निष्पतन्तु मां वा लोका: कीर्तयन्त्वाकुमारम्‌ । सवनिकस्तानहं पातयिष्ये ते वा सर्वे भीमसेनं तुदन्तु

sarve saṅkhye kuravo niṣpatantu māṃ vā lokāḥ kīrtayantv ā-kumāram | savanikas tān ahaṃ pātayiṣye te vā sarve bhīmasenaṃ tudantu ||

毗摩塞那说道:“要么让所有俱卢人于此战中仆倒尘埃——要么让世人自幼童至老者都传说:倒在战场上的乃是我,毗摩塞那。唯我一人,当击倒那一切俱卢;否则便让他们尽数合围来攻,折磨我——毗摩塞那。今日胜负,当在战场上决断。”
