कर्णनिधनवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम् | Reporting Karṇa’s Fall to Yudhiṣṭhira
वर्ध हायं पाण्डव धर्मराज- स्त्वत्तो<्युक्तं वेत्स्यते चैवमेष: | ततो<स्य पादावभिवाद्य पश्चात् सम॑ ब्रूया: सान्त्वयित्वा च पार्थम्
vardha hāyaṁ pāṇḍava dharmarājaḥ tvatto 'nyuktaṁ vetsyate caivam eṣaḥ | tato 'sya pādāv abhivādya paścāt samaṁ brūyāḥ sāntvayitvā ca pārtham, pāṇḍunandana |
伐由说道：“噢，般度之子啊！你若吐出那不当之词，达摩王便会以为自己已然被杀。故而其后，你当俯伏礼拜其足；再以抚慰使帕尔塔心平，继而以公正之言对他说——求其宽恕，并以合乎正义的言辞相称。”
