संजय कहते हैं--भरतश्रेष्ठल तदनन्तर यह देखकर कि कुन्तीकुमारोंकी सेनाका अनुपम व्यूह बनाया गया है
sañjaya uvāca | ity uktvā vividhā vācaḥ kuravaḥ kurunandana | ājaghnuḥ paṭahāṃś caiva tūryāṃś caiva sahasraśaḥ ||
三阇耶说道：“噢，俱卢之喜！他们说了种种言辞之后，俱卢众击打千面战鼓，又吹响无数号角与诸般军乐。”
