लोके वरं सर्वधनुर्धराणां धनंजयं संयुगे संसहिष्ये । 'रथके मार्गोपर विचरनेमें कुशल

Transliteration

loke varaṃ sarva-dhanurdharāṇāṃ dhanañjayaṃ saṃyuge saṃsahiṣye | rathake mārga-upari vicaraṇe kuśalaḥ śaktimān samara-aṅgaṇe sadā mahān bhāra-vahanaḥ saṃsārasya samasta-dhanurdharāṇāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ pramukha-vīraḥ arjunaḥ adya yuddha-sthale ahaṃ daṭṭvā sāmnā kariṣye ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：“在这世间，诸弓手之中，檀那阇耶（阿周那）最为卓绝。然而在战阵之上，我也将忍受其锋芒，挺身与之对峙。他善于驾驭战车循路而行，力大无穷，常能在沙场承担沉重之任——阿周那，群雄之首、弓术第一的英雄——今日我必在战场上坚定迎战他。”
