Adhyāya 41 — Kṛṣṇa’s Battlefield Briefing and the Renewal of the Great Engagement

लोके वरं सर्वधनुर्धराणां धनंजयं संयुगे संसहिष्ये । 'रथके मार्गोपर विचरनेमें कुशल

loke varaṃ sarva-dhanurdharāṇāṃ dhanañjayaṃ saṃyuge saṃsahiṣye | rathake mārga-upari vicaraṇe kuśalaḥ śaktimān samara-aṅgaṇe sadā mahān bhāra-vahanaḥ saṃsārasya samasta-dhanurdharāṇāṃ śreṣṭhaḥ pramukha-vīraḥ arjunaḥ adya yuddha-sthale ahaṃ daṭṭvā sāmnā kariṣye ||

三阇耶说道:“在这世间,诸弓手之中,檀那阇耶(阿周那)最为卓绝。然而在战阵之上,我也将忍受其锋芒,挺身与之对峙。他善于驾驭战车循路而行,力大无穷,常能在沙场承担沉重之任——阿周那,群雄之首、弓术第一的英雄——今日我必在战场上坚定迎战他。”
