कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
आराधयिततवान् शर्व बहून् वर्षगणांस्तदा । दुर्योधन कहता हैं--तदनन्तर परशुरामने बहुत वर्षोतक तपस्या
ārādhayitavān śarvaṁ bahūn varṣa-gaṇāṁs tadā |
杜尤陀那言：“其时，他奉事娑尔瓦（Śarva，即湿婆 Śiva）多年。”此句彰显持久的戒行与虔敬之道——长久而有节制的努力，专注于至高之力；史诗常以此为得非常恩赐与神力之途，而此等力量后来或可顺乎达摩（dharma），亦或反其道而行。
