Adhyāya 31

हतवीरमिदं सैन्यं पाण्डवै: समरे विभो । कर्णो होको महाबाहुरस्मत्प्रियहिते रत:

hatavīram idaṁ sainyaṁ pāṇḍavaiḥ samare vibho | karṇo hy eko mahābāhur asmatpriyahite rataḥ ||

三阇耶说道:“威能之主啊,战场之上,般度五子已斩尽我军诸多首要勇士,使此军失其栋梁。唯有迦尔纳,这位臂力雄伟的战士尚存——坚定奉行对我等所珍爱、所裨益之事。”
