Śalya’s Objection to Sārathya and Duryodhana’s Conciliation (शल्यमन्यु-प्रशमनम् / Sārathyāṅgīkāra)

नक्षत्रसमूहोंके चिह्ववाले कवचोंसे आच्छादित, उत्तम घंटोंसे सुशोभित तथा अनेक रंगकी विचित्र ध्वजा-पताकाओंसे अलंकृत हाथियोंको हमने चारों ओर भागते देखा था ।।

sañjaya uvāca |

śirāṃsi bāhūn ūrūṃś ca chinnān anyāṃs tathaiva ca |

karṇacāpacyutair bāṇair apaśyāma samantataḥ ||

三阇耶说道:“我们看见四周的战象,披着带有星宿纹记的甲胄,以上等铃铎为饰,又缀以五彩奇异的旗幡旌旆,奔走纷乱。我们也看见四面八方,头颅、臂膀、股腿以及其他肢体,被迦尔那之弓所放之箭斩断,纷纷坠落。”
