Śalya’s Objection to Sārathya and Duryodhana’s Conciliation (शल्यमन्यु-प्रशमनम् / Sārathyāṅgīkāra)
नक्षत्रसमूहोंके चिह्ववाले कवचोंसे आच्छादित, उत्तम घंटोंसे सुशोभित तथा अनेक रंगकी विचित्र ध्वजा-पताकाओंसे अलंकृत हाथियोंको हमने चारों ओर भागते देखा था ।।

śirāṃsi bāhūn ūrūṃś ca chinnān anyāṃs tathaiva ca |
karṇacāpacyutair bāṇair apaśyāma samantataḥ ||
三阇耶说道：“我们看见四周的战象，披着带有星宿纹记的甲胄，以上等铃铎为饰，又缀以五彩奇异的旗幡旌旆，奔走纷乱。我们也看见四面八方，头颅、臂膀、股腿以及其他肢体，被迦尔那之弓所放之箭斩断，纷纷坠落。”
