Transliteration

sa-patākā-dhvajāḥ petur viśīrṇā iva parvatāḥ |

Translation

三阇耶说道：旌旗与幡幢纷纷坠落，宛如破碎的群山崩塌。战阵逼迫之际，骑士们斩杀许多勇者，又砍断巨牙大象的长鼻。鼻被斩断后，那些大象因剧痛而狂乱，在战场上践踏无数人、象、车与马；继而它们身带折断的旗帜与幡幢，也如山岳崩裂般轰然倒地——这正是战争盲目的势头：暴力反噬诸方，强者亦成不择对象的毁灭之器。
