तावकानां परेषां च युध्यतां भरतर्षभ । नासीत्‌ कश्चिन्महाराज योज्त्याक्षीत्‌ संयुगं भयात्‌

Transliteration

tāvakānāṃ pareṣāṃ ca yudhyatāṃ bharatarṣabha | nāsīt kaścin mahārāja yo jitākṣīt saṃyugaṃ bhayāt ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：噢，婆罗多族中的雄牛，噢，大王——在你方与敌方交战的勇士之中，没有一人因恐惧而弃战离场。此景在危难中显出坚忍：两军皆为刹帝利之法所系，即便代价是生命，也不改其所择之职责。
