भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
कुरूणां पाण्डवानां च क्षयं घोरं॑ महामति: । स ततो निवारितवान् धृतराष्ट्रं जनेश्वरम्
kurūṇāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca kṣayaṃ ghoraṃ mahāmatiḥ | sa tato nivāritavān dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ janeśvaram ||
三阇耶说道：俱卢与般度两族双方那可怖的毁灭，早已为大智之士（毗度罗）所预见。因此，他曾竭力劝阻人中王——持国王——不要踏上通往覆亡的道路。
