शल्यं च पज्चविंशत्या शरैरविव्याध पाण्डव: । रुक्मपुड्खैर्महेष्वास: स विद्धो व्यपयाद् रणात्
śalyaṃ ca pañcaviṃśatyā śarair avivyādha pāṇḍavaḥ | rukmapuṅkhair maheṣvāsaḥ sa viddho vyapayād raṇāt ||
三阇耶说道：那位般度之子以二十五支箭射穿沙利耶王，箭羽饰以金翎。沙利耶中创负伤，遂从战场退去——可见在战争中，即便强弓善射之士，也会在更强的压迫下被迫撤退。
