विकर्णो दशभिर्भल्लै राजन् विव्याध पाण्डवम् | नरेश्वर! तदनन्तर सम्पूर्ण विश्वमें विख्यात महारथी भीष्मने अर्जुनपर सतहत्तर बाण चलाये

vikarṇo daśabhir bhallai rājann vivyādha pāṇḍavam |
三阇耶说道：大王啊，毗迦尔那以十支“婆罗”（bhalla）利箭刺中般度之子（阿周那）。其后，在诸大车战勇士闻名的交锋中，毗湿摩射七十七箭，德罗那二十五箭，克利帕五十箭，难敌六十四箭，沙利耶九箭，阇耶陀罗九箭，沙昆尼五箭，毗迦尔那十箭——各自倾泻箭雨，皆中阿周那。
