भीष्मधनंजयद्वैरथम्
Bhīṣma–Dhanaṃjaya Duel and the Opening Clash
अर्जुनस्तु नरव्याप्रो दृष्टवा भीष्म॑ं महारथम् | वार्ष्णेयमब्रवीत् क्रुद्धो याहि यत्र पितामह:
sañjaya uvāca | arjunas tu naravyāghro dṛṣṭvā bhīṣmaṁ mahāratham | vārṣṇeyam abravīt kruddho yāhi yatra pitāmahaḥ ||
桑阇耶说道：阿周那，人中之虎，见到毗湿摩——那位大车战士——便愤然对弗利什尼族的黑天说道：“瓦尔什涅耶，驾车到祖父毗湿摩所在之处！”在战场的法义重压下，阿周那的急切显出他的忧惧：若不正面迎击，正为都利约陀那而战的毗湿摩必将摧毁他的军势。
