परस्परेषां वीराणां मनांसि समकम्पयन्‌ । युद्धमें भीष्मजीके धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाणोंसे समस्त योद्धा पीड़ित हो रहे थे। उन बाणोंने परस्पर सभी वीरोंके हृदय कँपा दिये थे

paraspareṣāṃ vīrāṇāṃ manāṃsi samakampayan |

三阇耶说道:在鏖战之中,毗湿摩自弓上连发的箭矢折磨着聚集的诸军,使敌对的英雄们彼此对峙时心胆俱颤——这正是战争压倒性的威势:当武艺与杀伐毫不停歇地倾泻而出,纵然勇者亦难免动摇。
