सम्यक् प्रणीता नागाश्च प्रभिन्नकरटामुखा: । ऋष्टितोमरनाराचैर्निविंद्धा वरवारणा:,गजानां पादरक्षास्तु व्यूढोरस्का: प्रहारिण: । ऋष्टिभि श्र थनुर्भिश्च विमलैश्नव परश्वधै:
saṃyak praṇītā nāgāś ca prabhinnakaraṭāmukhāḥ | ṛṣṭitomaranārācair niviṃddhā varavāraṇāḥ, gajānāṃ pādarakṣās tu vyūḍhoraskāḥ prahāriṇaḥ | ṛṣṭibhiḥ śaradhanurbhiś ca vimalaiś nava-paraśvadhaiḥ |
三阇耶说道：战象被娴熟地驱策向前，冲锋之时两鬓涌流，狂奔如雷。那些雄伟的巨象被长矛、投枪与铁镞之箭刺穿。又有奉命护卫象足的步卒——胸膛宽阔、善于击杀——以矛、以弓矢，并以新磨而光亮的战斧继续鏖战。
