The verse highlights how inner force and resolve can dominate external noise: Bhīma’s roar symbolizes unwavering courage and the power of a determined will, reminding readers that moral and psychological strength often shapes the course of conflict as much as weapons do.
As the armies prepare amid conches, drums, elephant-trumpets, and soldiers’ shouts, Bhīma’s tremendous roar rises above all other sounds and is heard everywhere, intensifying the battlefield atmosphere and signaling the Pāṇḍava side’s fierce readiness.
