The verse conveys that the Divine reality surpasses ordinary perception: God’s sovereignty is immeasurable and overwhelming, inspiring humility and devotion. Ethically, Arjuna’s focus shifts from personal fear and judgment to reverent recognition of a larger dharmic order that transcends human limits.
In the midst of the Kurukṣetra context, Arjuna describes the vision shown to him: the Lord appears crowned and armed, radiating in all directions with a fire-and-sun-like brilliance. Arjuna is struck by awe because the form is difficult to behold and cannot be measured or comprehended fully.
