अर्जुनके प्रति भगवान्का विराट्रूप-प्रदर्शन किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रिणं च तेजोराशिं सर्वतो दीप्तिमन्तम् । पश्यामि व्वां दुर्निरीक्ष्यं+ समन्ताद् दीप्तानलार्कद्युतिमप्रमेयम्ः
kirīṭinaṃ gadinaṃ cakriṇaṃ ca tejorāśiṃ sarvato dīptimantam | paśyāmi tvāṃ durnirīkṣyaṃ samantād dīptānalārkadyutim aprameyam ||
阿周那说道：我见您如辉煌光明之聚——戴冠，执杵与神轮——向四方放射光耀。从各处望去，皆难以直视；您炽然如火，如日，形相不可测量。于此异象中，阿周那在战场上的道德挣扎化为敬畏的震撼：战争可怖的规模，被置于神圣者无边主权的框架之下。
