भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय २: संजयस्य दिव्यदृष्टिप्रदानम् तथा निमित्तवर्णनम्

नैनं शस्त्राणि छेत्स्यन्ति नैनं बाधिष्यते श्रम: । गावल्गणिरयं जीवन युद्धादस्माद् विमोक्ष्यते
nainaṁ śastrāṇi chetsyanti nainaṁ bādhiṣyate śramaḥ | gāvalgaṇir ayaṁ jīvan yuddhād asmād vimokṣyate ||
兵刃不能斩伤他，劳顿疲惫也不能压倒他。此三阇耶，迦瓦尔伽那之子，将从这场战争中保全性命而得解脱——仿佛有更高的护佑使他超越凡人的脆弱。
