भीष्मसेनासंनिवेशः — Bhīṣma’s Mobilization, Omens, and the Kaurava Array
स तु वैकर्तन: कर्ण: सामात्य: सह बन्धुभि: | न्यासित: समरे शस्त्र भीष्मेण भरतर्षभ,भरतभूषण! इस युद्धमें भीष्मने मन्त्रियों और बन्धुओंसहित कर्णके अस्त्र-शस्त्र रखवा दिये थे
sa tu vaikartanaḥ karṇaḥ sāmātyaḥ saha bandhubhiḥ | nyāsitaḥ samare śastraṃ bhīṣmeṇa bharatarṣabha ||
桑阇耶说道：“婆罗多族之雄啊，车夫之子（外迦尔多那）迦尔纳与其大臣、亲族同在，竟被毗湿摩在战场上命令缴置兵器。此事彰显毗湿摩对军令纪律之严守，亦示个人宿怨须服从战争秩序——纵使因此束缚一位可怖的强者。”
