तच्छुत्वा कुरुवृद्धो हि बली संवृतलोचन: । शनैरुद्वीक्ष्य सस्नेहमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्
tac chrutvā kuru-vṛddho hi balī saṃvṛta-locanaḥ | śanair udvīkṣya sa-sneham idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||
三阇耶说：听了这些话，俱卢族的长者、力大无比的毗湿摩虽仍闭目，却缓缓睁开，含情仰视。见此处幽静，他命卫士退下，并以一手慈爱地拥抱迦尔纳，如父拥子。随后他说道：
