न च शकक्‍्यमवस्त्रष्टं वैरमेतत्‌ सुदारुणम्‌ । धनंजयेन योत्स्येडहं स्वधर्मप्रीतमानस:

Transliteration

na ca śakyam avastrāṣṭuṁ vairam etat sudāruṇam | dhanaṁjayena yotsye 'haṁ svadharma-prīta-mānasaḥ ||

Translation

这场仇怨——如此惨烈而凶暴——如今已无法解除、也无法搁置。因此，我将怀着履行自身法义的安定之心，与财胜者（阿周那，Dhanañjaya）交战。
