नाकम्पत महाराज क्षितिकम्पे यथाचल: । नरेश्वर! युद्धमें शिखण्डीके द्वारा आहत होकर भी कुरुवंशियोंके पितामह भीष्म उसी प्रकार कम्पित नहीं हुए
nākampata mahārāja kṣitikampe yathācalaḥ | nareśvara! yuddhe śikhaṇḍinā āhato 'pi kurūvaṃśīnāṃ pitāmaho bhīṣmaḥ sa tathā na kampitaḥ, yathā bhūkampaḥ sati 'pi parvato na calati || 44 h || tataḥ prahasya bībhatsur vyākṣipan gāṇḍivaṃ dhanuḥ |
三阇耶说道：“大王！纵使大地震动，他亦不曾颤抖——如山岳在地震中依然岿然不动。人中王啊！虽在战阵中为尸佉ṇḍī所伤，俱卢族的祖父毗湿摩也丝毫不动摇。随后，阿周那（毗婆蹉）含笑，迅疾执起甘狄婆神弓。”
