गमिष्यामि स्वकं स्थानमासीद्ू यन्मे पुरातनम् | उदगायन आदित्ये हंसा: सत्यं ब्रवीमि व:
gamiṣyāmi svakaṁ sthānam āsīd yad me purātanam | udagāyane āditye haṁsāḥ satyaṁ bravīmi vaḥ ||
“诸位天鹅(Haṁsa)啊!唯有当太阳转入北行之途(uttarāyaṇa,北至之期)之时,我才会启程前往我自己的居处——那自古便属于我的旧日归所。我以真实之言告知你们。”
