समन्ततश्न दृश्यन्ते पतिता धरणीतले । बाणोंकी वेदनासे आतुर हो पताकाओंसहित बड़े-बड़े हाथी चारों दिशाओंमें चक्कर काट रहे थे। नरेन्द्र! गदा, शक्ति और धनुष धारण किये हुए बहुत-से क्षत्रिय सब ओर पृथ्वीपर पड़े दृष्टिगोचर हो रहे थे || ६१ है ।।

Transliteration

samantataś ca dṛśyante patitā dharaṇītale |

Translation

三阇耶说道：四面八方皆可见战士倒伏于地。战场遍布无数刹帝利的尸身——或为诸王，或为执槌、持枪、挽弓之勇士——显出当“法”(dharma)被必胜之念所遮蔽时，愤怒与争竞所付出的惨烈代价。
