अन्तराच्छिद्यमानानि शरीराणि शिरांसि च | निपेतुर्दिक्षु सर्वासु गजाश्वरथयोधिनाम्,हाथी, घोड़े तथा रथोंपर बैठकर युद्ध करनेवाले सैनिकोंके शरीर और मस्तक बीच- बीचसे कटकर सब दिशाओंमें गिर रहे थे
antarāc chidyamānāni śarīrāṇi śirāṃsi ca | nipetur dikṣu sarvāsu gajāśvarathayodhinām ||
三阇耶说道:战势愈烈,那些乘象、乘马、驾车而战的勇士,身躯与断首在冲杀之间被斩为两段,向四方坠落——此乃战争不分青红皂白的暴烈之象,亦是凡入战者皆须付出的惨烈代价。
संजय उवाच
