इति श्रीमहाभारते भीष्मपर्वणि भीष्मवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे सप्तदशाधिकशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate bhīṣmaparvaṇi bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe saptadaśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
如是，在神圣的《摩诃婆罗多》中，于《毗湿摩篇》之内——尤其在叙述毗湿摩之陨落的部分——描写纠结喧腾之战的第一百一十七章至此终了。此结语的题记将叙事置于战争更宏大的道德危机之中：即便一位可敬长者的倒下，也成了诸般义务相冲与由“非正法”（adharma）推动之冲突势头所致的必然结果。
