पार्थहेतो: पराक्रान्तो भीष्मस्यायो धन प्रति । राजन! भीष्मजीके साथ युद्ध करनेमें अर्जुनकी सहायताके लिये पराक्रम करनेवाले सुभद्राकुमार अभिमन्युने राजकुमार बृहद्वलके साथ युद्ध किया

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | pārtha-hetoḥ parākrānto bhīṣmasya āyodhanaṃ prati | rājan, bhīṣmajīke sātha yuddha karane meṃ arjunakī sahāyatā ke liye parākrama karanevāle subhadrā-kumāra abhimanyune rāja-kumāra bṛhadvalake sātha yuddha kiyā |

Translation

三阇耶说道：“大王啊，苏跋陀罗之子、英勇的阿毗曼纽为阿周那之故，挺身向前，直趋毗湿摩的战阵前沿。为助阿周那与毗湿摩交锋，他与王子布里哈德瓦拉展开厮杀。此段彰显了战火与道义重压之下，仍对己方事业与亲族尽忠尽责的精神。”
