तत्रासीत् सुमहद् युद्ध कुरूणां पाण्डवैः: सह । भीष्महेतोर्नरिव्याप्र श्येनयोरामिषे यथा
tatrāsīt sumahad yuddhaṁ kurūṇāṁ pāṇḍavaiḥ saha | bhīṣma-hetoḥ naravyāghra śyenayor āmiṣe yathā ||
三阇耶说道：在那里，俱卢与般度子之间爆发了极其惨烈的大决战。噫，人中之虎啊！此战乃为毗湿摩而起——如两只鹰隼为一块肉相争。此喻揭示：对单一珍贵目标的执著，足以煽动暴烈，遮蔽战场上的明辨。
