तत्र भारत भीमेन ताडितास्तावका: शरै: | रुधिरौघपरिक्लिन्ना: परलोक॑ ययुस्तदा
tatra bhārata bhīmena tāḍitās tāvakāḥ śaraiḥ | rudhiraughapariklinnāḥ paralokaṃ yayus tadā ||
三阇耶说道:“在那里,噢,婆罗多的后裔啊,俱卢的战士们被毗摩之箭击倒,浸没在奔涌的血流之中,当时便离此世而往彼世。”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the stark consequence of warfare: even when fought under the banner of duty, battle results in death and suffering. It invites reflection on the ethical gravity of violence and the irreversible cost borne by those who fight.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that on the battlefield Bhīma struck the Kaurava troops with arrows; soaked in streams of blood, they died and ‘went to the next world’ (paraloka).
