समाभाष्यैवमपरं प्रगृह्म रुचिरं धनु: । मुमोच समरे भीष्म: शरान्‌ पार्थरथं प्रति

Transliteration

samābhāṣyaivam aparaṁ pragṛhya ruciraṁ dhanuḥ | mumoca samare bhīṣmaḥ śarān pārtharathaṁ prati |

Translation

三阇耶说道：他如此再度言毕，毗湿摩又执起一张华美的长弓，在战阵之中向帕尔塔（阿周那）的战车射出一阵箭雨。此景彰显武士之道：纵然称赞勇武，刹帝利亦不离其战斗之责。
