भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

चकर्ष च ततो दोर्भ्या धनुर्जलदनि:स्वनम्
sañjaya uvāca | cakarṣa ca tato dorbhyāṃ dhanur jaladanisvanam, athāsya tad api kruddhaś ciccheda dhanur arjunaḥ |
三阇耶说道：随后，他以双臂挽起那张轰鸣如雷云的弓；然而阿周那怒火炽盛，立刻又将那弓斩断。此景表明：在战斗的狂烈之中，武艺与迅疾的判断决定刹那胜负；但忿怒（krodha）亦促成升级，使技巧化为对敌方凭藉之无情摧毁。
