Adhyāya 107 — बहुयुद्धप्रकरणम्
Multiple Defensive Engagements to Protect Bhīṣma
अपरे तु तदा55दाय वाजिनागरथान् रणे । त्वरया परया युक्ताः प्राद्रवन्त विशाम्पते
apare tu tadā dāya vājinā gārathān raṇe | tvarayā parayā yuktāḥ prādravanta viśāmpate ||
三阇耶说道:随后另一些人又在战场上整备起自己的战马与战车,被极度的急迫所驱使,便向前猛冲,大民之主啊。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how, in war, collective energy and urgency can sweep people into action; it implicitly invites reflection on the ethical weight of such momentum—speed and zeal do not by themselves confer righteousness (dharma).
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that another contingent, taking their horses and chariots, hurriedly surged forward into the battle, indicating escalating engagement on the field.
