रणे भारत पार्थेन द्रोणो विद्धस्त्रिभि: शरै: | नाचिन्तयच्च तान् बाणान् पार्थचापच्युतान् युधि
raṇe bhārata pārthena droṇo viddhas tribhiḥ śaraiḥ | nācintayac ca tān bāṇān pārthacāpacyutān yudhi, bhārata |
三阇耶说道:“噢,婆罗多啊,在战斗中,德罗那被帕尔塔以三箭射中;然而在战场上,他对那些从阿周那之弓飞出的箭矢毫不在意——其决心在兵戈交鸣中依旧不动如山。”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights steadiness in the face of pain and pressure: a seasoned warrior (Droṇa) remains mentally unshaken even when wounded, illustrating disciplined focus and endurance expected in kṣatriya conduct during war.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Arjuna (Pārtha) strikes Droṇa with three arrows in the battle, but Droṇa does not pay them any attention on the battlefield, continuing his fight without being disturbed.
