भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
भेरीमृदड़शड्खानां दुन्दुभीनां च निःस्वनै: | उत्कृष्टसिंहनादैश्व वल्गितैश्व पृथग्विधै:
bherīmṛdaṅgaśaṅkhānāṃ dundubhīnāṃ ca niḥsvanaiḥ | utkṛṣṭasiṃhanādaiś ca valgitaiś ca pṛthagvidhaiḥ ||
三阇耶说道：在战鼓、鼓、法螺与战鼓的轰鸣声中，又夹杂着高亢的狮吼与种种夸耀的呼喊，我们也在骤起的怒火与急切的冲动里，猛然扑上去攻击他们。我们以自己的咆哮回应他们的咆哮；就在那一刻，双方将士之间爆发了一场大战。
