व्यास: सशिष्यो भगवान् वर्धयामास तं नृपम् । इस प्रकार इन्द्रके समान तेजस्वी राजा युधिष्ठिरके उस यज्ञको समाप्त करके शिष्योंसहित भगवान् व्यासने उन्हें बधाई दी--अभ्युदयसूचक आशीर्वाद दिया
Vyāsaḥ saśiṣyo bhagavān vardhayāmāsa taṃ nṛpam | indrasamaṃ tejasvinaṃ rājānaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram aśvamedhayajñaṃ samāpya saśiṣyaiḥ saha bhagavān vyāsaḥ abhinandya abhudayasūcakaṃ āśīrvādaṃ dadau |
毗湿摩波耶那说：当犹提施提罗王——光辉如因陀罗——圆满完成阿湿婆梅陀大祭之后，德高望重的圣仙毗耶娑偕同弟子前来礼敬国王，以吉祥祝福增益其欢悦与声望。此刻昭示：正法之王权并非仅凭武力得以印证，而在于依达摩完成神圣职责，并蒙智者赐福而确立。
