शरभेणार्चितस्तत्र शिशुपालसुतेन सः । युद्धपूर्व तदा तेन पूजया च महाबल:,वहाँ शिशुपालके पुत्र शरभने पहले तो युद्ध किया और फिर स्वागत-सत्कारके द्वारा उस महाबली अश्वका पूजन किया
śarabheṇārcitas tatra śiśupālasutena saḥ | yuddhapūrvaṃ tadā tena pūjayā ca mahābalaḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：在那里，尸输波罗之子舍罗婆（Śarabha）向那位强者致敬：先与之交战，继而又以应有的礼遇与供奉相待，显明纵在争斗之中，礼法与正行亦不曾废弃。
