एवमुक्ते ततः कुन्तीं पर्यगृह्नाज्जनार्दन: । भूमौ निपतितां चैनां सान्त्वयामास भारत

Transliteration

evam ukte tataḥ kuntīṁ paryagṛhṇāj janārdanaḥ | bhūmau nipatitāṁ caināṁ sāntvayāmāsa bhārata ||

Translation

话既出口，阇那尔达那（克里希纳）扶抱昆蒂，将她搀起。见她倒卧于地，便开始安慰自己父系之姑母，噢，婆罗多——此举显明：在战后余震之中，达摩化作慈悲与亲族之责。
