Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
भुजाभ्यां परिगृहौनां चुक्कुशु: परमार्तवत्,“इसकी बात सुनकर कुरुकुलकी सारी स्त्रियाँ इसे दोनों हाथोंसे पकड़कर अत्यन्त आर्त-सी होकर करुण विलाप करने लगीं
bhujābhyāṃ parigṛhītāṃś cukruśuḥ paramārtavat
毗舍波耶那说：听到这些话，俱卢族的妇女们用双臂抱住她，悲痛欲绝，发出凄厉的哀哭。此景昭示：当哀伤失去约束，便会爆发为集体的恸哭；纵然大战争在表面上已告终结，人间的代价仍长久不息。
